Qatar News Agency (Q.N.A) has revealed that the Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, has offered King Mohamed VI his condolences over the bus victims in the area of Errachidia city, in the south of Morocco.
The news source states that the Deputy Emir Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad al-Thani also sent a telegram to King Mohamed VI for the same reason.
Last Sunday, the floods swept away a bus in the area of Errachidia resulting in the death of 17 people, and a popular discontent on social media.
Morocco’s Head of Government said in a Facebook post that he was “deeply saddened by the tragic incident” and called on drivers “to be more vigilant” on roads.
